Things have been really BUSY around here!

Lori and I have been working like Crazy on Customer Quilts and Orders trying to get everything completed before Christmas!

I have not Posted anything on my Blog for several days.

I have been putting in long hours, "IN THE ATTIC"!

HOWEVER,

Lori has a Birthday coming up November 30, and she has decided that she wants to make a King Size Quilt for their bed.

She has selected the "Creekside Trail" Flannels by Holly Taylor.

 

This Fabric is Absolutely Beautiful!

There are 33 different Prints in the Fat Quarter Bundle.

I am Selling the Bundles for $74.99 each, on my Website ~ www.donnasintheattic.com.

Lori and her family have Built a Beautiful Log Home.  This Quilt will be a Perfect addition.

I will try to  give you updates on the Progress of her Quilt.

LONG ARM QUILT PATTERN - Curly Q ~

Just wanted to show you this Beautiful Pattern called

"Curly Q" ~

 

I had to do Some Work on my Long Arm Machine.

I pinned Muslin Fabric on, front and back, and Quilted it to make sure everything was working OK.

Isn't it a BEAUTIFUL Pattern!

 The Pattern Designer is Lisa Calle.

(Any ideas on what to do with this Quilted Piece?)

DISAPPEARING 9 PATCH QUILT ~

I have been so Anxious to Piece a

 

"Disappearing 9 Patch" Quilt!

 

Dee Locke, a Good Friend of Mine, brought a Quilt Top by to show me, and I fell in Love with it.

 

Here is what 1 Block looks like ~

 

 

It is a Standard 9 Patch Block, Cut in Half Vertically and Horizontally, Pieces turned in different Directions, and then Sewn back together.

 

I have some "Shangri La" Charm Packs that have not Sold,

so I decided to make my Blocks using that Fabric.

I am not all that Crazy about the Fabric,

Here is my "PINK" for Today ~

 

Now, what all this means.

I am going to be Hosting a 

QUILT TOP LOTTERY!

NO, . . . THAT IS NOT A TYPING ERROR!

This is not a Quilt BLOCK Lottery, BUT, a Quilt TOP Lottery!

In the usual Quilt Block Lottery, you piece a Block, send it in, and then Your Name is entered in a Drawing to WIN all of the Blocks that were submitted.

In My Quilt Top Lottery, you will piece a Quilt Block from a Pattern and Fabric of My Choice and Mail it to me.

When the Deadline arrives for the Blocks to be in my hands, I will Begin to Piece the Blocks together into a QUILT TOP!

Upon Completion, I will have a Drawing from all who Pieced and Sent in a Block.  One person will WIN the Quilt Top!

“9 PATCH” Blocks.

These are very simple to make and hopefully will allow more on You to Participate during this busy time of year.

All you need to do is send in one “9 Patch” Block and you have a chance to WIN!

Not a Seamstress or don‘t have time to piece Your Block?

That’s OK!

You can still Participate!

All you have to do is email me and I will send you an Invoice through Paypal for $2.50 for each Block Ordered.  That will pay for Your Fabric and the Construction of Your Block or Blocks ~

I will piece Your Block for you!
