~ THANK YOU BEVERLY for inviting all of us to join in on your "PINK SATURDAY"! Make sure and check out Beverly's Blog: www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com for her pink presentation!
I have never used the color PINK to decorate any of the homes we have lived in. I don't know why, I just haven't. I have always had a love for darker colors.
In just the last few years I have developed a love for the color PINK! I want to buy an old cottage and completely redecorate it in soft shades of PINK and white. Garry doesn't like to hear me say that!
Anyway, because of this secret dream to someday have that "PINK Cottage", I have begun to collect PINK items. These will be the treasures I will share on PINK Saturday. Most of the items are in storage and are just waiting for their day to shine!
This week, I want you to see these beautiful dishes that I bought at an estate sale. The pattern is Dawn Rose by Sango. I just love them! Wouldn't they be perfect for a ladies luncheon? I don't know much about them, but I think they would be just beautiful on display in a white antiqued china cabinet.
My mother-in-law gave me the white teapot. I love it! We bought a home in Tulia, TX in 1979 and they left some pieces in the house. The pink sugar bowl was one of the pieces they left. I think it is beautiful!
I don't have any PINK stemware to match the dishes yet, but I am secretly searching for just the right ones.
If you know anything about these dishes, I would love to hear from you.
Thanks for sharing your time with me!
I hope you have a wonderful "PINK SATURDAY"!
