~ JELLY ROLL CHARM QUILT - by Dee Locke ~

WELL, . . . I hate to say it, but I have been really LAZY the last couple of days!

It's not that I don't have anything to do, I'm just not in the Mood ! ? ! ? !

However, just before I went into my SLUMP, I Quilted another Customer Quilt that I want to show you!

 

The name of the pattern is "Jelly Roll Charm" by Sager Creek Quilts & Yarnworks. 

The fabric is called "Portugal" by April Cornell.

 

I Quilted the pattern "Wandering Leaves" on the Quilt, . . .

and the back ~

I wish there were some way that I could Share with you the Wonderful Talent that Paula has.  She Plays the Piano (and I mean she REALLY PLAYS IT! ), . . .  she is all over that thing!  

If there were anyway that I could get it on my Blog for my Background Music, I would do it. 

You would Absolutely LOVE IT!

A Special "Thanks!"  goes out to each of you for Participating in my "Quilt Party"!

I am so excited to have another Quilt completed.  Sometimes I have a hard time getting started, but once I do, I am always glad to have another Beautiful Quilt to Enjoy or Give for a Gift!

I Love each of your Quilts.  I Love the Great Variety of Colors and Styles of Fabric.

Even though we all used the same pattern, we have so many Unique Quilts!

Now for one Lucky Quilter, they will soon be one step closer to having their Quilt completely finished!

This is not a Black and White photo, Dee used white on black Fat Quarters for her dark fabrics, and black on white Fat Quarters for her light fabrics.

She also used a small deep burgundy strip between the inside of her Quilt and the small outside border.  She used 4 burgundy blocks in each corner.

~  CANDACE'S QUILT  ~

 

WOW, CANDACE, your Quilt is absolutely Beautiful!    I love all of the different prints!

Doesn't the little dark inside border add to the Quilt!  It really sets it off!

So far, Candace is the only one that has added the extra 6 1/2" outside border!

OOOoooHHHhhhh, . . . LIZ, . . . it is Beautiful!  I love the combination of the Blue and Gold Fabric!  Liz is a Busy Lady, and had a full schedule for the month of December, but took time out to join in!

INA SUEHS ~  is a dear friend of mine from Miami, TX.  Ina bought her Fat Quarters for her Quilt from me.  She selected her fabric from my "Peace On Earth" Fabric.  She selected the cream background fq's for her light fabric and the dark greens, browns, and burgundy's, for her dark fabric.  Ina does not have a way to get me her picture, but I know it turned out Beautiful!  Ina has pieced Quilt Tops for many years and does a Wonderful Job!  Thank you, Ina, for being a part of my Quilt Party!

JEANNE ~  also bought her fq's from me.  She selected the "Pine Creek Crossing" fabric.  I have heard from Jeanne a couple of times, and I am sure her Quilt has turned out CUTE, CUTE, CUTE, . . .  Thank you, Jeanne, for joining in on the FUN!

I just noticed, I forgot to put on my 6 1/2" outside border!  Oh well, I will attach it and show it to you later after I get it Quilted!

I will use the Sage Green background fabric with the large Burgundy Floral Print for the outside border ~

You have seen this Quilt before. 

It is the Quilt that I practiced on before I started our Quilt Party.  I have quilted it with a Simple Feather Meandering pattern.

  

I don't have the binding on it yet, but hope to get it on during the Christmas Holidays!

~ FABRIC FOR MY GIVEAWAY QUILT ! - Pink Saturday ~

WELL, I have finally decided on the Fabric that I will use to make My GIVEAWAY QUILT!

 

I am going to use these two Fabrics on the Front of the Quilt.

It will be a solid panel of the PINK Floral fabric in the middle, and there will be a 5 1/2" border all the way around the Quilt.

The Quilt will measure approximately 54" x 60"

I am going to use the Striped Fabric on the Back.
