HAPPY "PINK" SATURDAY!
I have been craving Cinnamon Rolls!
So, I thought I would try using my Bread Machine to Prepare the Dough ~
They turned out DELICIOUS!
It was so Quick and Easy!
Here is the Recipe I used:
~ CINNAMON ROLLS ~
Dough:
1 cup Water
1 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Dry Milk Powder
1 1/2 tbsp Sugar
3/4 tsp Salt
2 1/4 cups Bread or All-Purpose Flour
1 1/2 tsp Rapid/Quick-Rise Yeast
Use the Dough Program on your Bread Machine. When the dough is ready, place it in a greased bowl, turning to coat evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and let dough rest for 20 minutes.
Punch dough down.
On a floured surface, roll the dough into a 15" x 10" rectangle.
Sprinkle with Filling:
1/2 cup melted Butter
3/4 cup Sugar
2 tbsp Cinnamon
3/4 cup Walnuts or Pecans, and Raisins if desired.
Beginning on the 15" side, roll up dough and pinch edge together to seal.
Cut into 12 - 15 slices.
Place slices close together in a pan. Let rise until double (about 45 minutes).
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.
Glaze:
4 tbsp Butter
2 cups Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
3 - 6 tbsp of hot water
Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Add hot water 1 tbsp at a time to desired consistency. Spread over slightly cooled rolls.
Ready to serve ~
