HAPPY "PINK SATURDAY" ! ! !
Well, I have to tell you, if you do not have a Blog, you just have to Create one!
It is Amazing how much more I get done because of it ! ! !
I have a tendency to Want to do something, and then Never get it done.
Well, making PEANUT PATTIES is one of those things!
This is bad to say, but for the last two Holiday Seasons, I have bought supplies to make Peanut Patties and Peanut Brittle, and Guess What ! ? ! ? ! . . . I Never Got It Done!
SO, . . . today I was thinking, What Can I Post For "PINK SATURDAY", and it came to me, "PINK PEANUT PATTIES"!
When I got in from work, I was tired and I thought, UUuuummmmmmmm, I think I will make them a little bit later.
Well, . . . 8:00 rolled around and I still did not have them made!
Every Wednesday, I get an email from Beverly, at www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com, asking if I am going to participate in "PINK SATURDAY". If I say "YES", then at that point, I am committed to have a PINK POST.
I can honestly say, that I probably would not have made Peanut Patties again this year if it had not been for MY BLOG!
BELIEVE ME, . . . I think you are going to LOVE this Recipe! It is so Easy, Fast, and Delicious!

I loved reading how to make these. I was born in Texas but we moved to WA when I was a year old. My parents always got pink peanut patties every time they went there to visit, my Mom loves them. They do not sell them here, what a fun post! Happy Pink Saturday.

These look delicious. I'm not familiar with them so I have a question. Are they like peanut brittle, or more soft like fudge?

Wow - - I can't believe I found this recipe. My father used to bring them home as a treat for us kids when he would go to Memphis, Tennessee for our National church Convocation. All of a sudden we couldn't get them anymore. I have been looking for years as to where I could buy them - - and now thanks to you I can even make them.
Thank you for this recipe - - I will share with other family members.- - - Joyce

Donna, when looking for pink peanut patties, I saw your page and of course I had to go to it.
My name is Donna, too.
I am going to try making these.
Being in texas they were always in the little stores and I remember eating and loving them when I was a young girl.
Thanks for the beautiful music on your site, too.
