I couldn't stand it . . .

I just had to Piece another

"Disappearing 9-Patch" Quilt!

 

I have had this Layer Cake for a long time.

It was one of the Collections I carried in My Shoppe

but I never had time to Piece a Quilt out of it.

I love the Prints so I wanted to use a Pattern that

would show off the Fabric.

The blocks are Pieced and ready to layout tomorrow!

I finished the Quilt this Morning ~

I got to spend the entire morning listening to David Nevue on the piano - Beautiful,

and Piecing a Quilt!

Two of my most favorite things to do!!!

This Fabric reminds me of my Dad.

I was raised on our Farm 5 miles North of Olton Tx.

I couldn't help but think about so many

Precious Memories I have with my Dad.

I Loved working with him!

~ Meet Johnny - 3 years old and Charlie - 9 months old ~

Charlie and I had been pulling Johnny around the yard in the wagon.

After about 10 minutes of that fun,

Johnny decided he needed to pull Charlie and I around.

? ? ? ? ?

 

If was definitely a trick trying to get in the wagon

especially holding a little one . . .

but we did it!

When Garry shows up,

Johnny thinks Papa needs to pull all 3 of us!

We're overflowing with FUN!

Today is a SPECIAL DAY!

IT'S JANA'S 26th BIRTHDAY!

I went back through my Photo Albums trying to find Jana in a "PINK" Outfit.

It took awhile, . . .

BUT, . .

here is Jana at 9 months old ~

26 years later ~

 

Jana graduated from the University of New Mexico in August with a Nuclear Medicine Degree.

She has just been hired by Loveless Medical Center ~

 

and, . . .

the Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque NM

  

as a Nuclear Medicine Tech ~
