You will need a Layer Cake, Fabric for two Borders,

Binding and the Back.

 Here is the General Idea how the "Twister" works.

First you will sew all of your blocks together along with the first Border ~

(the pattern says to use 36 of the 42 - 10" squares

but I don't like to waste any of them so

I used all 42 that I show on this Post)

Then you will Cut Up the Quilt Top you just Pieced

using the "Twister" ! ! !

The Corners ~

Outside Edge Blocks With Border ~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

and The Inside Blocks ~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Cut your Blocks ~ Left to Right/Top to Bottom.

Lay the Blocks back out in the Order you Cut them.

I think I am going to use Red Minkie Fabric

on the back and

the white Stripe Fabric that I used on the Inside Border

cut on the Bias for the Binding.

I couldn't stand it . . .

I just had to Piece another

"Disappearing 9-Patch" Quilt!

 

I have had this Layer Cake for a long time.

It was one of the Collections I carried in My Shoppe

but I never had time to Piece a Quilt out of it.

I love the Prints so I wanted to use a Pattern that

would show off the Fabric.

The blocks are Pieced and ready to layout tomorrow!

I finished the Quilt this Morning ~

I got to spend the entire morning listening to David Nevue on the piano - Beautiful,

and Piecing a Quilt!

Two of my most favorite things to do!!!

This Fabric reminds me of my Dad.

I was raised on our Farm 5 miles North of Olton Tx.

I couldn't help but think about so many

Precious Memories I have with my Dad.

I Loved working with him!

This is the first time I have used this Pattern.

The instructions were easy to follow

and it went together fairly quickly.

The Pattern didn't call for Inside and Outside BorderS

but I added both.

I have been wanting to make this Quilt for a long time

so . . .

  I decided today was the day!

I am going to use the

"Urban Cowgirl" Fabric Collection by Urban Chiks.

Well, it's taking a little longer than I thought it would.

I had a little mess up on the first 5 Blocks.

I wasn't paying attention and made a crazy mistake.

It took me a  little time to rip them out and start over.

My New Favorite "Turning Twenty" Quilt ~

 Just threw some of my Favorite Fat Quarters together to make this Quilt.

 

It's just a 12 Block Quilt.

I Love it so much, I wish I had made it King Size.

Hopefully I'll be able to come up with more of the same prints plus a lot more

and make another one.

I would like to have this one on my bed.

The backing fabric worked out perfectly.

It's not one of my favorite prints

but

blended in perfectly with this Quilt.

I Can't Believe it, I'm Ahead this year!

I Love this Fabric Collection by Sweetwater.

I also love Polk-a-Dots so I went with the red dot on the back.

You can never go wrong with a bias Candy Cane Stripe binding!

If you have not made a Quilt using the

"Twister" Tool,

you have to try it.

I think you will LOVE IT!

It's a Quick and Easy Way to make a Pinwheel Quilt.

The directions come with the Tool.
