KASHMIR IV LAYER CAKE Pieced using the "Paint Box" Pattern ~

I just had to show you this Beautiful PINK Quilt Pieced by Lori!

One of her Best Girlfriends is going to have a Baby Girl in the next couple of weeks, and

so Lori wanted to make her a Special Gift ~

 Didn't it turn out Cute and so Dainty ~ Perfect for a Little Girl!

She Quilted it using the "Feather Meandering" Pattern.

The Back ~

Lori has been Piecing Quilt Tops for me to put in my New Shoppe. 

 This is her first Quilt to make and give as a Gift.

The Expectant Mother Loved It!

OZ LAYER CAKE ~

I just couldn't wait any longer,

I had Lori cut into one of  my "OZ" Layer Cakes!

BROWNIES FROM SCRATCH * Quick and Easy ~

HAPPY "PINK" SATURDAY!

 

I decided to make a Batch of BROWNIES, Display them on one of my Favorite "PINK" Plates, and Share the Recipe with you.

This is my Mother's Recipe.  We have been using it for years!

No matter what I do, Mother's are always BETTER than mine ! ? ! ? !

I hope you ENJOY them!

 

~ BROWNIES ~

2 sticks Butter

2 1/2 cups Sugar

5 tbsp Cocoa

5 Eggs

2 tsp Vanilla

1 3/4 cups Flour

Nuts (optional)

 

Melt butter.  Add sugar and cocoa.  Add eggs, one at a time and beat a little after each.  Add flour and vanila.  Bake in a greased pan at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
